In the printing industry, new technologies have made it possible to virtually eliminate the negative impact that traditional methods have had on the environment. We also know that sustainability can be achieved without sacrificing your profit objectives.
The PrintResponsibly.com founders have nearly four decades of experience in the industry and have invested heavily in the technology and processes that foster sustainability. All of our production plants are FSC/SFI certified and our corporate philosophy is to seek continuous improvement towards our goal of achieving a carbon neutral footprint.
Investments in equipment to expand our product line allowing us to eliminate outside suppliers, reducing the need for trucking and associated waste.
Adoption of energy efficient programs such as Enernoc which allows us to utilize the electrical grid more efficiently. We are currently investigating the option to add wind power to our facilities.
The purchase of carbon offsets through Terra Pass, Inc. reducing the negative impact of events/tradeshows and other business activities that require travel and the use of carbon fuels.
Expanding our support of community and trade initiatives that promote sustainability through sponsorships, in-kind donations and active participation.
Purchase and use of a "Smart Car" for company purposes
Continuous search for substrate alternatives and the adoption of eco-friendly consumables for use in the normal course of business.
